New Life Church in Colorado Springs is the home of worship leader Ross Parsley and the Desperation Band as well as the source of the worship album ‘My Saviour Lives’. The worship of 15,000-member New Life Church in Colorado Springs flows from the heart one of America’s most influential team of worship leaders and songwriters.

Worship leaders from New Life include Glen Packiam, Ross Parsley and Jared Anderson. Also from this church comes the Sonflowerz, an all female acoustic rock
band who travel around the world ministering in schools.

A significant band also to come out of this move of God is the Desperation Band, born out of their student ministry. They believe that local church is God’s chosen vehicle for creating change and that change happens locally. It happens when people act where they are, with what they have. It occurs when people do a series of little things over a long period of time. The band explains “This is a generation in desperate pursuit of God. Together let’s make sure our lives are defined by faith and faithfulness so we can spread salvation around the world.”
The church explains, “One of the most important things we do at New Life Church is to come together every week and experience the power of God's presence. People from different backgrounds and generations join as one to engaging in worship as a family. It is there that we are refreshed and realigned.
